The August issue of EH&S Today features an article by Sean Nix titled “Managing Compliance: Taking the Heat out of Fire Code Classification.” In this highly practical article, Mr. Nix explores the challenges of fire code classification and labeling, and offers readers tips for ensuring that the appropriate classifications are applied to hazardous products and materials. The Summer 2011 issue of EEI’s Manufacturer’s Report newsletter includes an article on Contractors, MSDSs and OSHA, written by Isaac Powell. In the article, Isaac explores the role of general contractors on a worksite, and their responsibility under the HCS to provide MSDS access to workers and subcontractors on the site.
